Mine Geologist

Job Description

We require a qualified mine geologist to manage our geological department at our chrome and gold operations in the Midlands province. Responsibilities include resource estimation, grade control, core logging, geological mapping, and reserve reporting. You will work closely with the mine planning engineer to optimise extraction sequences. A strong background in BIF-hosted gold and chrome geology is highly advantageous.

Requirements

• ▸BSc Geology or equivalent
• ▸Professional registration (AusIMM, SAIMM, or GIPZ)
• ▸3+ years mine geology experience
• ▸Proficiency in Leapfrog or Surpac
